Michelle has been teaching writing for 20 years and has experience working with writers of multiple ages, abilities, and past experiences. Trained in writing center pedagogy and bringing full-time college teaching experience to her approach, she focuses first on "Making Stage" elements like organization and support before moving onto "Polishing Stage" issues like grammar and punctuation. Michelle's advice is not about "fixing" a paper. It's about giving writer's the tools they need to make their own writing choices for effective communication that meets their goals.
Details and Considerations
This coaching product includes rough and final draft feedback on a single project. Final drafts will need to be resubmitted in a timely manner (usually within one week unless otherwise agreed upon) to receive feedback. Long and complex projects (longer than 12 pages/requiring extensive external sources) may receive feedback on only a portion of the work or may require an additional feedback session to complete. If this is necessary, you will be notified in advance to choose how to proceed.
