True or False? The Science of Perception, Misinformation, and Disinformation

by Jacqueline B. Toner

This non-fiction book is written by a retired clinical psychologist Dr. Jacqueline B. Toner. It aims to provide young readers with the tools they need to recognize how our perceptions can be skewed to make us believe falsehoods and misinformation.

This colorful, engaging text is a great introduction to media literacy and critical thinking for tweens.
